FloSeal® is a proprietary combination of specially engineered collagen derived particles and topical thrombin that delivers an easy-to-use topical hemostatic sealant. FloSeal is not a sponge or a fibrin glue; it is a high viscosity gel for hemostasis. FloSeal is indicated in surgical procedures as an adjunct to hemostasis when control of bleeding by ligature or conventional procedures is ineffective or impractical.
